Psychometric

Psychometric is that part of psychology that deals with "measuring" psychological variables.
In the blog I explained in my own words why Psychology is a science (or why I think so). However, it is not an exact science, there is no measuring instrument for intelligence, depression, attention, and more. So how do you operate?

Shannon reads this page:

To measure behavior we have to rely on statistics, that allow us to analyze data.

Perhaps you have happened, out of curiosity or necessity, to have done a psychological test, is that right? And after you finished it, you were ranked by your result, it that true? What did the result tell you? Did they tell you what kind of person you are? Full of energy or lazy? Average happy, or chronically bored?
This is an example of how statistics can be used to interpret data and then give you feedback.

Among the services I offer is psychometric counseling. I can teach you to use the R language. This programming language is specifically designed for statistical computing.

Do you need to score a test? Do you need to do a specific analysis? Are you preparing your thesis or a scientific paper? If you are in trouble with that, well...  contact me. I will listen, and I will lead you in the right way.

The statistical analyses I know are: Descriptive statistics – Association – Correlation – Regression (Univariate, Multivariate, Logistic) – ANOVA – Mediation – Structural Equation Model (SEM) - Network Analysis – Meta-analysis.
If what you need is not on this list, try asking for an opinion. We can study and learn together.
